I’ve just returned with my family from a 10 days holiday at the Louis Althea Kalamies Villas in Pernera, Cyprus and I must say, its just what we needed.We arrived at the hotel in the late evening where we had to check in to the Louis Althea Hotel reception. The villa is on a complex which has around eighteen other villas, completely away from the lively atmosphere of the hotel itself, so it is nice and quiet. The villa itself was beautiful and clean, in the frig we found out a complimentary bottle of Greek wine called ‘Thisbe’ which was very tasty, along with a large plate of fruit, a large bottle of water and six fizzy drinks. The villa itself was extremely spacious and was fully air conditioned.we found out our villa very comfortable, with all the facilities in the kitchen, even the dishwasher had detergent in villa, no need to buy or bring, we had a breath-taking view of the sea (if staying in the sea 4 bedroom view villas). There were shampoo, conditioner and very nice body lotion waiting in bathroom as well as sewing kit. Very friendly, rooms cleaned carefully daily.Beach is just around the corner as well as supermarket, snack bar and restaurant "Kalamies" with delicious dishes of greek cuisine, I recommend ellnviko thalassivo meze gia 2 atoma, it has everithing you dream of))).The verandah was equipped with an outside dining area, being a dining table and chairs, along with an outsider shower, two parasols and six sun loungers which were spread out around the fresh water swimming pool.

The only wish to be any kind of bbq in the outside area!

The villas are beautifully decorated, very comfortable, with a breath-taking view of the sea (if staying in the sea view villas). Staff very friendly, rooms cleaned daily, maintenance services readily available (we needed a light bulb changed).

The only inconvenience is the location; which is not so bad, is that you need to rent a car to go around to the more interesting beaches and to the Protaras and Agia Napa strips at night.
